We are very excited about this planned pairing! The mixture of size, type and temperament is sure to produce something wonderful. We want to thank Kathleen at Citadel Tibetan Mastiffs for allowing us to use her treasured boy Captain. We think he is the perfect mixture of health, good-looks and personality. This litter is a co-breeding between Becky Hyatt and Kathleen McDaniel and will carry both the Washani and the Citadel Tibetan Mastiffs Kennel name.

Citadel's Ajayi Cher Song Ba :: OFA Good / Elbows Normal :: Thyroid - Normal - The pride and joy of Citadel TMs out of Illinois, Captain is a proven stud dog that has consistently passed on his outstanding type, temperament and charm to his offspring. He is an animated, outgoing and people-oriented dog. Captain stands 27.5 inches tall and is a substantial and muscular 120 pounds. A true athlete, he has good solid structure and strong, driving movement. A dense and sturdy boy, he presents with lovely bone whether he is in or out of coat. His health has been impeccable and his intelligence and sweet-tempered personality cannot be beat.

Washani's Vixen :: OFA Fair / Elbows Normal :: Thyroid Normal - As the daughter of Drakyi Anoka and Drakyi Sitka, she is a first generation daughter of Washani and we are very pleased with the direction that this 3.5 year old girl is taking. Measuring approximately 29 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds, we elicit smiles whenever we call Vixen our "delicate little flower." Vixen has an amiable and soft personality, she is always ready for a cuddle and enjoys being pampered. She loves to interact with her people and once properly introduced to strangers, she gets along well with any guests to the Washani home. In typical TM fashion, however, she does have a mind of her own. This is Vixen's second breeding.

We expect Black & Tan and possibly Black puppies from this pairing. Please contact us if you would like to be considered as a home for one of our puppies.

Washani's Yama Antaka :: OFA & Thyroid Pending - Like moths attracted to a flame, everyone is drawn to this striking boy. On full display with a magnificent gorgeous red/gold coat complete with beautiful plumed tail, Queso brings his trademark laid-back attitude to this planned breeding. An excellent guardian with children and his family, Queso is a calm, playful and active boy as he keeps busy with two younger TM girls. Queso has also enjoyed some success in the show ring. Queso is the son of Drakyi Anoka and Suraj of Saras and this is his first breeding.

StormnAngels Empress of Kalapa :: OFA & Thyroid Pending - A balanced dog with superb structure, this black daughter to Himalaya's Zhiji Chang and StormnAngels Dark Moon, Tehya comes from a solid foundation of all-round sound Tibetan Mastiffs. Striking that picturesque lion-guardian pose, she certainly exudes the presence of royalty. Tehya is dominant without being overbearing and she can be lured into a good game of active play with our other dogs.

Drago x Cherry "E" Litter Puppies Born January 22, 2009

These puppies have all been placed in their new homes.

Cherry gave us 8 adorable babies and they are split right down the middle in number, color and gender! We have 4 girls and 4 boys. We have 2 black and 2 black & tan boys and also 2 black and 2 black & tan girls. What perfect symmetry! Photos and details will be posted here.
